The guidance of tunneling machines requires long-term repeatability and stability over many months. Also, reliable operation during continuous vibration and environmental conditions is essential.
Civitanavi Systems has developed a product specifically for this difficult application, the CFA100IC. Basic accuracy is 0.1° but is also available as the CFA050IC with 0.05° heading accuracy.
Bias repeatability day to day and in-run stability is proven with specially developed factory tests as well as many months on-site testing with our Customer.
