Alan has recently joined Civitanavi providing his extensive business development experience in managing growth and innovation in the aerospace and defence market segment. Previously Alan has worked as a Senior Consultant with Selex ES in the UK and Italy developing sales in advanced, Active e scan IFF products through to production in particular for a current, successful, new generation fighter program.
Alan led a turn-around in the growth profile of the inertial business in Northrop Grumman Italy over a 10 year period and was instrumental in creating and implementing innovative FOG based and other inertial products into an international market place, including the United States, UK and Pakistan.
Alan has previously worked with Aviointeriors in the civil aircraft interior business leading the commercial, sales and marketing team turning in double digit annual growth during his 10 year tenure. Prior to that Alan has worked in various sales ,marketing and engineering positions with Litton Industries, GEC Marconi and Bae Systems. He has a degree from the University of Reading in the UK and participated in financial and business courses in the United States at the Wharton School, Philadelphia and Harvard Business School, Boston.
Steve studied Electronics & Electrical Engineering at Surrey University in Guildford UK. In 1987 he moved to Germany to work as R&D engineer with Litef in Freiburg, designing electronics for AHRS and INS systems. In 1992 he was involved in the development of Litef’s first FOG AHRS system (LCR92), destined to become a benchmark product in aviation and land navigation.
From 1996 to 2008 he started and developed his own company specializing in the design and production of high reliability electronics for the automotive industry, including electronic braking, steering and starting systems. This included setting up global manufacturing partnerships and quality systems, and managing key processes from design to end of life, as well as business development.
Mario has recently joined Civitanavi for Strategies and Institutional Relationships bringing almost 40 years experience and background in Aerospace and Defence activities. He started as Technical Officer in the Italian Air Force dedicated to procurement of specialised Avionics in the CNI field (Communication, Navigation, Identification).
He then joined Industry with various Business Development, Sales and Management positions in the Avionics field and later on on all Communications spectrum (Naval and Tactical) with Companies like Elmer, GEC Marconi, Selex Comms, Selex ES, Finmeccanica. He spent significant part of his career to manage International Aeronautical Cooperative Programmes like Tornado, EH101, Eurofighter, NH-90, NATO AWACS, NATO AGS, JSF, MIDS-LVT etc building relationships at european and USA level supporting also the Italian Government initiatives.
To this purpose, he has been Member of the Board of various Companies like Euromids, Essor (European Software Defined Radio), Sirio Panel. Mario is graduated in Physics at La Sapienza Rome University and attended various business and managemet courses within GEC Marconi and Finmeccanica organizatios.
Lucia has consolidated an important experience within the Company, serving in Civitanavi Systems since its foundation in the areas of finance and administration, export control, customer service, communication and human resources management.
Today she is in charge of Human Resources.
