Our CFA100IC tunnel guidance system is a compact rugged unit specifically designed for a challenging environment, such as tunneling. The sensor mounting chassis and external housing make an integral shock & vibration resistant unit, as well as being IP66 compliant. Internally the IMU uses proven Civitanavi FOG gyroscopes (fully made in-house) as well as a high performance accelerometer triad. The AHRS algorithm has been optimised for high vibration applications, specifically for low azimuth drift (<0.01 deg/hr) applications after repeated power cycling and temperature gradients.
